Hello, my name is Chelsea Hudson. I am the receptionist here at Finklea Law Firm, and I will be here to welcome you into our office. I have always enjoyed working with the public, so being a part of Finklea Law Firm is a great fit for me. I attended Florence-Darlington Technical College after graduating high school. My free time away from work is usually spent with my boyfriend and our three Boykins. I look forward to meeting you!
Angie - Office Administrator
I began working for Finklea Law Firm in 2004 as a Litigation Paralegal. After 11 years of employment, I left after the birth of my son, Jasper. I returned to the firm as the Office Administrator in March 2017. Considering my education in business, legal experience and enjoyment of the duties of the administrator, I am excited to serve in this capacity. I handle matters related to accounting, personnel management, advertising, supplies, phones, and computer software and hardware. On a larger scale, I work with the attorneys to ensure their goals for the direction of the firm are met. I strive to assist the firm to operate effectively on a daily basis and efficiently while making sure our clients’ needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Jessica - Legal Assistant
My name is Jessica Hernandez. I am a Legal Assistant at the Finklea Law Firm and work as a liaison between the lawyers and our Spanish-speaking clients. In addition to meeting with these clients and translating for them, I often attend depositions, mediations and court appearances. I started working with FLF in October 2011. It is, has, and continues to be an honor to be a part of a professional and organized law firm which offers legal advice within a culture that encourages innovative problem solving. My name is Carol Little. I am a 1998 Graduate from Florence-Darlington Technical College with an Associates Degree in Public Service - Legal Assistant/Paralegal. Previously, I worked for sixteen years at the Fallon Law Firm here in Florence until Mr. Fallon's retirement. Now, I work with Gary's clients that are in the litigation phase of their case. I am very familiar with the litigation process, the discovery process, and how to prepare a case for trial. Also, having reviewed medical records for over 16 years, I assist in identifying important aspects of our clients' medical treatment. I know that client service and good communication are important, and I enjoy meeting new people and making a positive impact on peoples' lives. Helping clients is a daily routine to which I have become accustomed and thoroughly enjoy! I look forward to meeting you and working with you. My name is Ellis Arrington. I am a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelors of Art in Fine Arts with a specialization in Graphic Design. I began working at Finklea Law Firm in March 2014 as Legal Secretary to Gary Finklea and Charlie Blake, Jr. My daily duties include transcription, preparing cases for the discovery portion of the litigation process, providing organizational support and keeping clients informed during the pendency of their cases. I began working in the legal field over 5 years ago while I was in college. My experience began as a legal courier and thereafter developed into receptionist and secretarial duties. My name is Kimberly Winburn (Kim). I have enjoyed being a part of the Finklea Law Firm family since January 2014. Prior to coming to FLF, I spent three years with Washington Mutual n/k/a JPMorgan Chase and worked in the Tax Department. At Washington Mutual, I was responsible for paying mortgagors' property taxes through their mortgage escrow accounts. Thereafter, I spent seven years employed with the Florence County Clerk of Court 's Office where I assisted attorneys and the general public with real estate recordings and other legal documents. At the Finklea Law Firm, I am a Legal Assistant to J. Gregory Hendrick and work exclusively with real estate transactions. I enjoy the fast-paced nature of the work where every day is unique. I work with so many people to make each closing come together for each of our clients, and I look forward to working with you in your real estate closing!

I began working at the Finklea Law Firm in April 2012. I work within the real estate department and have countless years of experience in real estate transactions and other property issues. For over nine years, I worked for Florence County in both the Tax Assessor's Office and the Florence County Planning Department. In the Planning Department, I worked with approving plans, plats, subdivisions, and zoning issues. I also have over fifteen years of experience with abstracting, titles, researching courthouse records, and loan closings.
